The shot buffer is how many seconds before auction's end your shot will be fired.

You may choose a different buffer for each shot. This can be set when you add a new shot; simply enter the desired value in the "Shot buffer" field. Unless you make this change the default shot buffer will be used. You may change your default shot buffer for each auction service on the eBay Settings and Allegro Settings pages.
