What are the limitations of the group bidding?
- There should be not less than 3-4 minutes between
shots in the same group. Snip will not force this restriction upon you.
However, it may take Snip three minutes to process the results of a shot
and cancel the remaining shots in a group if necessary. If a shot is placed
less than three minutes after another, you may win both items and be forced
to buy two when you only wanted one.
If the hit limit is high enough, multiple shots may take place within
the three-four-minute window. To avoid problems, be sure that the number
of shots within a three-four-minute period is less than the hit limit.
You may check the each group's shot list to
see if there are time conflicts.
If this icon appears at the left side of the shot, there is a risk that this bid
will be placed regardless of the previous shot's result - it is less than 3 minutes
between them.
If this icon appears at the left side of the shot, this bid for sure
will be placed regardless of the previous shot's result - it is less than 1 minute
between them.
Please note: These icons appear at the group's shot list only.
They don't appear at the regular shot list.
- Successful shots in a Dutch auction may also cause difficulties.
Regardless of the number of items won in a given auction, Snip will only increase the hit total by quantity number you set. This raises the risk of exceeding
the hit limit when shots on are grouped.
